Staff Psychologist (CBOC)
The Staff Psychologist (CBOC/OPC) will work in an outpatient mental health clinic providing assessment services and comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment to veterans presenting with chronic and acute mental-health concerns.
Other duties will include the following:
o Implements evidence-based programs and interventions for Veterans presenting in an outpatient setting to include, but not limited to, psychological and psycho-diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, group therapy and treatment planning.
o Possesses good time management skills, good communication and negotiation skills to balance workload demands.
o Uses a personal computer due to the NF/SG VHS implementation of a completely computerized medical record.
o Writes psychological reports, chart notes, and treatment summaries.
o Prioritizes the work appropriately and seeks consultation as needed to deal with difficult cases.
o Demonstrates leadership abilities within a respectful, interdisciplinary team format and should be self- motivating to seek out and complete work assignments.
o Follows protocol while maintaining necessary flexibility to overcome any barriers to providing services to veterans.
o Exhibits excellent customer service skills toward both patients and coworkers.
o Works collegially with all other professions and demonstrates tolerance of those with different opinions and/or attitudes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
