Description:
The Director of Women's Services Career plans, directs, and manages overall operations in their department. The director conducts ongoing analysis, development and implementation of methods, systems and personnel to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and customer services in particular departments.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
Master's Degree preferred.
Any required education/certifications required by the state of Tennessee or other regulatory agency.
Experience:
Three to five years experience in a related field preferred.
Skills:
The ideal candidate must have an aptitude for problem solving. They must have experience and basic knowledge of computer software including word processing and spreadsheets. They must deal with organization, personnel and public demands and have the ability to deal with constant pressure in a changing environment. They must possess strong oral and written communication skills, diplomacy and tact. They must be able to demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism and trustworthiness and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect. They must maintain technical competence to perform functional responsibilities as needed.
