As Secretary (OA), you will provide a full range of administrative support to the Consolidated Coding Unit in Ceredo, WV which provides outpatient coding services to 6 Medical Centers and associated CBOC's for VISN 9 and three Healthcare Systems in VISN 17.
The incumbent provides the full range of administrative and secretarial support to VISN 9 CCU Management and coding staff.
The incumbent maintains effective office systems, procedures and communications, making changes as necessary to ensure that smooth patterns of work and information flow to meet the needs of the VISN 9 CCU management and staff.
Primary duties include ongoing maintenance of Service compentency folders, initiate HR actions in WebHR, act as Service ADPAC, assist staff with FedTraveler.
Maintenance and coordination of the CCU dashboard includes outpatient coding productivity and turn around time (VISN 9 CCU Metrics Summary); VISN 9 CCU coding productivity, turn around time and unit cost (HIMS Metrics); and reasons not billable/CCM case comments (Revenue Metrics).
Maintenance of various VISN 9 and VISN 17 CCU activity reports.
Also responsible for budget assistance, office supplies and equipment, and timekeeping.
Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication.
Maintains a suspense file to assure that all timed correspondence is acted upon within the prescribed limits.
Use MicroSoft Office software to accomplish daily tasks.
The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
