Cost & Forecast Analyst

Control Devices, LLC has an immediate opening for a Cost & Forecast Analyst at their Fenton, MO location. This position is responsible for performing and reviewing cost accounting and sales forecasting for the Company. This role will own variance analysis and profitability reviews for the Company as well as being actively involved in the Company S&OP process.
Responsibilities include:
Analyze forecast trends and generate sales forecasts using customer-provided and historical data.
Facilitate process to obtain forecast inputs from Sales team and customers to provide best forecasts for conversion into demand plans that drive the supply chain process.
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to leadership team and supply chain organization.
Actively participate in continuous improvement throughout demand planning process.
Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead cost against standard/budget. Research and explain variances. Report this information monthly or as needed.
Lead the monthly review of purchase price variances.
Lead by-item gross margin reviews
Work with CFO and Controller to implement cost accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in the development of labor and overhead rates, budget, and forecasts.
Perform ad hoc product/plant cost analysis to support Operations and Sales
Requirements include:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, supply chain management, or business administration is required.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred
The fully qualified candidate will possess a strong knowledge of financial and cost accounting. He or she will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cost accounting role. The candidate will have a proven ability to understand cost accounting and analyze and interpret data to present to upper-level management.

Technical Skills: Sound understanding of accounting concepts.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with advanced Excel user capability. SQL reporting capability is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong writing and speaking skills; can articulate information clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings.
Judgment: Makes good decisions in a timely manner based on analysis and experience; track record of making solid suggestions and decisions over time.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
