JOB
Summary:
Focuses on ensuring the Division's compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) required documentation including:
Individual Driver Qualification (DQ) files; Special Permits; Federal and State registrations; CS&A testing; driver time records, and roadside inspections all with the goal of being able to produce accurate and up-to-date documents for review in a regulatory audit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Include the following:
Sort, file and review all Divisional DOT compliance paperwork such as, driver hours of service logs, post trip vehicle inspections and hazardous material shipping papers Input electronic documents to the Driver Document Management (DDM) system Ensure that the DOT CDL driver list for random controlled substance and alcohol (CS&A) testing is current Ensure all FMCSA roadside and site inspections are maintained on file for (12) months Maintain and communicate DOT accident ledger entries for the Airgas LLC ledger Audit driver's Hours of Service (HOS) grid logs for accuracy Audit and maintain all driver vehicle post-trip inspection reports (DVIR) for (90) days Maintain all private and common carrier hazardous material shipping papers (other than the current month) for the previous (24) months Communicate results of daily DOT paperwork audits to field location managers Provide support and answer DOT regulatory questions for field location managers Additional duties and projects as may be assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in the management and administration of compliance with DOT regulations Some college work or degree preferred Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities in a busy environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills Ability to effectively present information to associates, managers and branch personnel Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities Must be able to discern and explain government (DOT/PHMSA/DHS) regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a teamQualificationsQualifications EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, protected veteran status or disability.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
