We are looking for an excellent Process Improvement RN to join our team.
Description:
Reviews clinical documentation, assigns appropriate ICD-9 codes, and reviews OASIS Assessment data set within the Home Health Department.
Works collaboratively with the admission/case manager RN to evaluate patient care needs, to assist in accurate completion of the OASIS assessment tool, diagnoses, visit frequency and case management of the patient.
Demonstrates efficiency, cost-containment and technical competency in qualifying and quantifying the resources and financial utilization of Home Care services.
Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in Medicare regulations, PPS Final Rule, S tate and Federal regulations and JCAHO standards for Home Care as well as ICD-9 diagnosis coding.
Requirements:
Graduate from an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Associate Degree, Diploma, BSN or matriculating.
BS degree acceptable.
Three years current Home Health experience.
Knowledgeable in process improvement, quality studies.
State, federal and JCAHO regulations as they relate to Home Health.
clinical information system for nursing documentation, quality studies, State and Federal and JCAHO regulations as they relate to Home Health.
Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey in good standing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
