We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide services at our St. Charles Community Health Center in Kenner, LA.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
An LCSW performs initial assessments, evaluation, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, and education relevant to patient s care. Conducts individual, group, and family therapy. Coordinates patient care with psychiatrist, referral sources, and primary care physicians. Accurately and appropriately documents observations, interventions, and patient outcomes.
SCHEDULED WORK HOURS:40 hours a week, Monday -Friday
AHL offers competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. AHL's social workersare also eligible for participation in the student loan forgiveness program for the National Health Service Corps.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Master s Degree from anaccredited school of social work
Current licensure in goodstanding in the state of Louisiana
Three to five years of post-master s experience working with children, adolescents, families andadults
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Prior outpatient treatmentexperience
High level of ethics in managingpatient confidentiality and advocacy
Able to utilize telephone,computer, printer, fax, and copier while performing certain duties
Has met all of the pre-employment requirements for an employee of AHL
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stands, walks, and sits repeatedly throughout theday
Carries relatively light materials
Handles multiple tasks simultaneously
Deals with and/or resolves stressful situations
Good listening skills, alert, analytical ability,problem solving ability with use of creative skills, good memory andconcentration, good judgment, initiative and patience
Communicates effectively with patients, physicians,and other staff in verbal and written form
