Registered Nurse - New graduates welcome- evening shift
Jersey Shore Center - Genesis HealthCare is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) for our 158 bed facility. The RN manages patient care by performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team and other disciplines to develop effective plans of care.
Hiring for: Full time 3p-1130p, Casuals (experienced only)
Some of the job responsibilities include:
Performs nursing functions and provides care within scope of practice.
Establishes measurable short and long term goals for the identified health problems/ needs. Develops interventions to achieve goals.
Reviews and revises plan of care.
Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
Uses Point Care Click (PCC) according to the business process.
Promotes a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
Collaborates with physicians in rounds and examination of patients as needed.
Communicates patient information with assigned staff during and between shifts.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required; BSN preferred.
Must be currently licensed by the state board of nursing.
New graduates welcome. One year experience in long term care preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
