Agricultural Project Manager and Earthlife Sales
Casella Organics, a division of Casella Waste Systems, is a leading provider of organic waste management and recycling services dedicated to assisting our Customers in achieving their sustainability goals by optimizing the use of their organic wastes and byproducts. We are seeking a professional, energetic, team player to help manage the sales and market development of our line of Earthlife Products in Central and Northern Maine. The position will also have Project Manager and Operations responsibilities. Knowledge and experience of sales to Central and Northern Maine agricultural community strongly desired. Position requires excellent communication, selling, customer service, and teamwork skills.
The position may be based based at either our Hermon or Presque Isle, Maine offices, and must be able to travel occasionally throughout the state of Maine.
Key Requirements:
Knowledge of fertilizer, soils and/or agronomy
Familiarity with operations and logistics
Exceptional sales and project management skills
Effective and organized prospector
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Education Requirements:
Degree in soils, agriculture, or natural sciences desired
