Field Service Technician

Successful candidate for our Field Service Technician position will represent WashTech in responsibilities of service, repair, and preventative maintenance on wash systems at customer sites with potential travel throughout the entire Service Territory area. Interested candidates possessing industrial electronics and electro-mechanical training or experience, plumbing and/or pump experience, customer service skills, and can provide proof of a credible driver's record are encouraged to apply.
Our technicians in this area travel throughout their territory area and may include about ONE WEEK a month on the road (Mon-Fri).
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Main duties consist of performing maintenance on carwashes and related equipment of all makes and models
Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and complete repairs as required.
Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
Maintain company assets, including service vehicles, tools and equipment.
Regular contact with supervisor, parts manager and logistics personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
An excellent mechanical background a must.
Must have excellent problem solving and decision making skills, ability to perform work with minimal or no supervision or assistance
Good mechanical abilities and a good understanding of mechanical systems
Working knowledge of plumbing, pumps and/or water treatment systems
Ability to read wiring diagrams and trouble shoot electrical issues using a Volt/Ohm meter.
Excellent communication skills required
Competitive starting wage, paid on a bi-weekly basis, with overtime payment when applicable. Additional compensation consideration for applicants with vehicle wash or other related electro-mechanical experience.
We provide a company vehicle, expenses, uniforms, laptop, printer, and cell phone. Daily travel and overnight travel within the service area, with compensation for daily/weekly on-call responsibilities when necessary. Per diem allowance for overnight travel.

All offers are contingent upon a pre-employment physical, drug screen and physical agility test.
