Position : Drilling Supervisor
Salary Expectations- 15 years

$100K Annual Bonus

The duties are:
?Implementing drilling operations and ensuring that they are completed as per schedule
?Planning, organising and coordinating oil rig operations
?Organize the operations of the staff like engineers, workers, contractors, geologists and scientists
?Make regular reports to the drilling superintendent on the progress of operations
?Implementing safety measures and regularly monitoring them for irregularities
?Implementing steps for reducing environmental depletion due to drilling operations
?Monitor all the drilling operations and make decisions regarding continuation or abandonment of the oil rig in extreme climates
?Systematic documentation of the oil rig operations
Required Skills:
The qualified candidate MUST be a fairly young energetic individual, have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering with AT LEAST 12 years of IN HOUSE Drilling experience specializing in HORIZONTAL DRILLING in the PERMIAN BASIN OR WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY. SHELL, BP, CHEVRON, EXON, HALLIBURTON, BAKER HUGHES, APACHE, SCHLUMBERGER, ECT. As well as strong working knowledge of the PRODUCTION AND COMPLETION ASPECTS OF THE WELL. Prior experience in supervision of drilling engineers and Recent experience in drilling horizontal wells
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a MUST. A working knowledge of Permian Basin drilling techniques, including Horizontal Well design and implementation is a MUST. The drilling supervisor will be in charge of Pre-Spud kick offs and possible annual board presentations.
