The Electrical Engineer position at the KU EW Brown power plant works with engineers of various disciplines and experience levels. This position will work closely with Management and Supervision while performing a multitude of tasks ranging from large capital projects to daily maintenance troubleshooting.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B. S. E.E.) Degree from an ABET accredited university is required. Power Systems Analysis and three phase power courses would be beneficial. Professional Engineer (PE) registration or successful completion of the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) examination is also preferred but not required. Five to fifteen years of heavy industrial experience is required, power, steel or petrochemical or other process plant experience is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
