Senior Mainframe Application Developer- Pharmacy
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is an application development role. The candidate is responsible to design, code, test, debug, and document programs/changes as needed. Highly skilled. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. This position may perform systems analysis functions.
Mainframe COBOL DB2 and SAS are essential skills. The candidate must have a strong DB2 working knowledge and experience, also needs Mainframe SAS experience for reporting. Preferred if the candidate has worked in onsite-offshore model. Preferred if the candidate has a healthcare background.
Good Communication skills(oral and written)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, typically 8 or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of 8 years experience application program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
