The E-mail Marketing Developer is a skilled technologist and marketer with experience coding, customizing, deploying and optimizing complex email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have the ability to articulate best practices and innovative ideas as it relates to rendering, deliverability, coding, etc. He/She will be focused primarily on e-mail marketing and will be responsible for building, editing, testing and deploying e-mail campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Restructuring and/or hand-coding HTML templates to meet design standards
Thoroughly test emails for compatibility across all e-mail clients on multiple computer platforms including most commonly used web clients
Coordinate email content (e.g. images, tracking codes, etc.) and change requests provided by Marketing Project Managers or Creative Director
Consult and troubleshoot on HTML/text templates, personalization, and URL/redirect issues
Conversion of full Photoshop documents to HTML templates
Qualifications:
Fluency in HTML/CSS
Experience with MailChimp preferred
Proficiency in Responsive Design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs
Understanding of cross-browser and front-end development issues
Understanding of CAN-SPAM, email regulatory compliance and deliverability elements
Experience using Marketo (preferred)

years of email coding and production experience
Understanding of email design and delivery issues within various email platforms (including typography layout) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
