We are currently seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor based out of our facility in Streator, IL. This position is immediately available.
Key Requirements &
Responsibilities:
Supervise employees of the area.
Responsible for meeting internal and external customer requirements with specific emphasis on safety, quality, cost control, production requirements and employee development.
Ensure customer requirements are met by meeting the established build/ship schedule.
Effectively plan manpower and overtime to ensure deliveries are met with the least amount of actual hours.
Be knowledgeable of, follow and ensure all company policies are being followed.
Responsible for specific cost reduction efforts.
Promote good housekeeping practices and a safe workplace.
Facilitate quality improvement and prevention oriented quality assurance.
Responsible for departmental inventory accuracy.
Assist in meeting annual productivity and performance goals.
Assist with employee interviews.
Responsible for updating employee time and attendance in the system.
