Prestigious Tier 1 Automotive Supplier located in the Detroit, Mi. area, has an opening for an experienced Plant Manager.
Knowledge of and manufacturing experience with Plastics Injections is required
Knowledge of General Motors protocols and systems are a plus.
Competitive Salary range at $100k-110k,

Key Areas of Responsibility (Answerable for the following end results)
100% responsible for the day to day operation of the facility, including Production, Mfg. Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Quality, HR- H&S and Continuous Improvement departments. Lead management meetings, high-level corrective actions, operations reviews, and the general promotion of continual improvement as a business culture.
Foster a Safety First environment:
Ensure Accidents and Incidents occurrence and severity are reduced and eliminated per BP objectives.
Foster an environment that is obsessed with customer satisfaction:
Ensure customer satisfaction for Delivery Performance per BP Objectives and customer feedback.
Ensure customer satisfaction for Quality Performance per BP Objectives and customer feedback.
Ensure customer satisfaction for Responsiveness and Cooperation per customer feedback.
Ensure High level of Employee Satisfaction as measured through employee opinion surveys.
Fairness and Equity
Employee involvement
Communication
Etc.
Ensure all departments meet their KOI performance per BP Objectives:
Perform internal reviews, providing coaching, teaching, counseling as required.
Ensure employee involvement/participation and ownership at all levels of the organization.
Ensure the successful launch of engineering changes, model changeovers and complete new programs.
Ensure the readiness of the facility for sudden catastrophic failures as outlined in the Disaster Recovery Process (ie: IT server failures, power failures, etc.)
Comply with all company directed policies and procedures developed within the Business Operating System.
Limits of Authority
Advise GM of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.
Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
Approve Business Operating System documentation as applicable (Process Owner)
Purchase Requisition approval for Department purchases

Basic Education, Experience and Training Requirements
Bachelor degree in an engineering or management discipline or equivalent combination of work and education.
Minimum 7 years related experience in management within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Possess excellent leadership abilities, organizational and communication skills.
Proficient computer skills. (ie. Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
