The Work:
The Web Developer will be engaged in challenging and fast paced software development and implementation of complex internet applications for our web community where as many as 20,000 customers at a time may be accessing the site worldwide. Team of eight uses knowledge of web technologies, ASP.Net , AJAX, HTML, XML, SQL database development, stored procedures, triggers and views. We are seeking someone who can effectively model development tools and/or database interactions and be required to evaluate systems specifications for future development roadmap. Other duties will include researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements. Experience in rapid application development is key along with the ability to work multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to effectively communicate with the team, QA testers to understand requirements and resolve tasks. Solid understanding of Microsoft MVC, software development patterns.
The Skills:
In order to best meet the needs of this position, candidate must have minimum:
8
years ASP.Net C# experience with AJAX.
5
years Object oriented development experience.
Previous experience with Microsoft MVC, software development patterns, and alternative development principles.
5
years experience developing applications against Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
Exposure to Software Development best practices.
Preferred Skills include:
Proven experience functioning as a Technical Subject Matter Expert.
Background in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
