Responsibilities:
Systems Specialist will be responsible for desktop support of computers. Systems Specialist must be skilled in both Mac and PC platforms. Extensive knowledge of Mac OS is also crucial as good portion of the hardware is Macs.
Job requires complete knowledge of desktop/laptop, peripheral, mobile hardware and thorough knowledge of LAN/WAN WIFI connectivity both in-house and remote locations.
Ability to solve problems in the field under high pressure is crucial. Requires keeping up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques, as this position will be the main technology source to the Production companies. Systems Specialist is responsible for managing very dynamic environment at multiple locations with up to 200 users per production.
DUTIES:
Manage and support all Macs and Windows PC's and end user support
Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. Troubleshooting network problems and outages (LAN/WAN/WIFI)
Research options providing functional and technical written evaluations of products and operating system upgrades and patches
Develop, organize and maintain standard operational procedures
Maintain relevant and current knowledge and be a leader, within assigned technical fields
Prioritize work efforts, multi-task in a very fast-paced environment, and provide timely and clear updates.
Provide technical consultations and presentations to end user as needed
Accomplishes MT&S and Infrastructure group organization mission by completing related tasks and results as needed.
REQUIRED

Experience: Successful candidates will have 5 plus years experience in Network support /Desktop support with heavy emphasis on Desktop and with minimum 2 years supporting LAN/WAN/WIFI/Network connectivity.
Job travel is a necessary function for support, self-transportation is REQUIRED. Ability to communicate effectively with High Level Executives and Talent is required.
