Facilities Maintenance Site Manager

The Facilities Maintenance Leader ensures a fully functioning and well maintained facility by implementing a system of preventative maintenance and repairs, overseeing the ongoing maintenance of the building and surrounding property, keeping all equipment in sound working order, leading and supervising the staff to sustain a consistently high level of readiness throughout all areas of the facility, and implementing cost-effective improvements to the facility and grounds.
Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or GED (with further technical degree or coursework preferred) and at least five years of progressively responsible facilities management experience with at least two years in a supervisory role. In addition, he or she must have a general mechanical aptitude, be experienced with the use of hand tools and other general maintenance equipment, and be willing to work a flexible schedule. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Ideal candidates will have good computer skills and experience with CMMS software and building control systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
