Currently, Meijer is looking for a Night Store Team Leader. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for working closely with the Assistant Store Director, 3rdin Charge, and 4thin Charge to ensure smooth operation of the Grocery Department. The Night Store Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day product flow of the Grocery Department. The individual selected for this position will report directly to the Assistant Store Director.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members
Assisting in achieving financial performance goals in the Grocery Department
Assisting with training Overnight Grocery team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover
Assisting the Assistant Store Director to ensure Grocery team members and Grocery APC are performing to meet Meijer minimum standards for both VPL and MSPS
Being accountable to Meijer sanitation and safety procedures
Assisting the Assistant Store Director to control and manage inventory shrink through BOH accuracy and adherence to rotation guidelines
Acting as a Duty Team Leader
Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Ability to analyze financial data and create a culture of compliance
Possess comprehensive knowledge of shrink
Ability to operate a cash register
Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members, and leadership
Possess strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Maintain a working knowledge of policies and procedures
Ability to hold others accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner
This position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
