Job Description

Responsible for the planning and execution of one or more simultaneous global product or process development projects according to the released Product Life Cycle/Phase Review process from project approval through volume production.

These projects may result from plan to achieve Organic Growth, Business Simplification or Cost Reduction.
Responsibilities

Successfully deliver new product/project solutions as assigned.

Lead multi-functioned teams including: Engineering (both development and sustaining), Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Assurance, and Vendors.

Define, communicate, and manage scope of projects.

Create and maintain project schedules which define activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associate resource requirements.

Negotiate, define, communicate, implement, and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables.

Build positive relations with clients and associates.

Ensure cross-functional commitments (and resolve escalations).

Support and enforce Company processes (including Rally Point).

Support and enforce Design for Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC.

To ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with mandatory trade compliance and government security requirements.

Supervisory and Staff Relationships: Reports to Sr. Manager, PMO. Manages actions and schedules, assigns deliverables and drives accountability into cross-functional global product development teams.

No direct employee supervision is required, but indirect supervision is required through Team Assignments

Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) from a four-year college or university with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading and directing people and projects is required. Master's degree (M.A., M.B.A., M.S.) or equivalent level of professional certification desired, but not required.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.

An advanced degree in engineering or business would be a plus.

Previous professional progressive management experience.

Design for Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is preferred.

Prior UK security clearance to BCC or SC is desirable.

The successful candidate will need to be able to be security cleared.

Experience of work in the military or civil defense field would be desirable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
