## General Summary
The Jr. Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the retail environment for e-commerce.
## Responsibilities
1. Implement, and maintain e-commerce Retail solutions.
2. Review pros and cons of implementation options with internal teams and vendors.
3. Use inputs and direction from leads for design and implementation.
4. As a backend focused developer, work on the business logic and back-office integration, using pipelines to manipulate data, integrate with external services and create jobs for processing data.
5. With training, learn E-Commerce platform and its reference applications.
6. Participate in all aspects of software development, including software implementation, testing, and deployment.
7. Resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and platform implementation.
8. Proactively engage with platform leads and others to meet business goals.
9. Work effectively with the leads and others to implement solutions and resolve issues.
10. Provide on-call support
11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
12. Must be at work on a regular and predictable basis or as scheduled.
## Education and Qualifications
1. Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
2. On the job experience with any of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, HTML 5.0, , Perl Java Script.
3. Understanding of object oriented programming and relational databases.
4. Ability to learn skills quickly.
5. Strong problem solving skills.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
8. 0-2 years experience.
9. Web development experience a strong plus.
10. Experience in developing e-commerce solutions a strong plus.
11. Experience in e-commerce backend integrations a strong plus.
12. Experience in setting up e-commerce feeds a strong plus.
13. Understanding of SaaS based cloud environment preferred.
14. Experience in agile development methodologies preferred.
