The Judge Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a large food manufacturing company in California. The qualified individual will be responsible for ensuring optimum quality and productivity by eradicating obstacles through proper development and coordination of materials, parts and manpower.
Responsibilities:
Develops preventative maintenance plans to coordinate with staff schedules
Develops emergency shutdown procedures and plans
Conducts reviews for completed jobs by comparing estimated labor to actual labor used to determine more precise preventative maintenance planning
Ensures equipment availability by maintaining open communication with the production department
Predetermines cost for all work orders that break down materials and labor from total expenses
Manages completed and backlog work orders and schedules to ensure that they are returned at the right time
Coordinates maintenance scheduling and planning by maintaining detailed records and analysis of reports
Simplifies maintenance processes by developing plans for reoccurring maintenance repairs
Requirements:
3 plus years' experience in maintenance planning/supervision
Strong leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills
Proficient knowledge in the use of Microsoft programs such as Word, Exel, etc.
