Facilitates collaboration with internal partners (to include Marketing, IT, Retail Store District Managers), and external service providers to plan and execute events. Responsible for all aspects of operational execution - guest experience (brand alignment, sales and service), staffing, cash handling, and P&L. Identifies ways to leverage opportunities to maximize results. Provides leadership to the Events Operations and Experience Coordinator. /This job requires extensive (domestic) travel - to all events. The weekly schedule predominantly includes weekends./
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Leadership
Provides leadership and direction to the Events Operations & Experience Coordinator(s)
Helps EO&EC establish priorities to ensure appropriate balance between events and new store opening support.
Ensures that EO&EC's time and focus is prioritized appropriately and balanced.
Staffing
Develops budget and strategy
Reviews staffing plan created by EO&EC
Facilitates staffing issue resolution in support of EO&EC
Operations
Responsible for the P&L.
Provides leadership and support EO&EC in operational areas to include: inventory, cash and POS, wage & hour compliance
Collaborating with internal partners creates an annual Events strategy to plan, coordinate, and facilitate resource allocation for Events execution. Resources include, but not limited to people, technical and financial.
Manages the execution process ensuring that it is effective, well defined, repeatable, and scalable.
Provides feedback to merchandisers and visual team to ensure that merchandise assortments reflect the brand strategy and stock levels are appropriate to meet the needs of the event
Ultimately responsible for inventory integrity
Heads up post-mortem review. Provides feedback to Marketing to continually improve brand alignment, the guest experience, and profitability.
Maintains awareness and compliance of local permits, legal requirements, and inspections.
Guest Experience
Drives Guest experience strategy ensuring consistency with other NB Channels - world class service & embodiment of New Balance's core values: Total Customer Satisfaction, Team Work, and Integrity.
Partners with Marketing to create strategies relative to inventory availability, line management and virtual queue
Staffing
Creates an annual staffing strategy to most efficiently & effectively utilize people resources, mitigating the impact on retail stores.
Ensures the events coordinator is prepared to execute the staffing strategy, to include oversight of selection, training, and travel initiatives.
Ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance of all applicable company policies and local & state regulations (wage and hours, travel, OT, child labor, breaks & meals, etc.) at all events.
A minimum of five years of retail management and/or events planning and execution experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in business, retail or related field
Extensive (domestic) travel - to all events. The weekly schedule predominantly includes weekends.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
