Lead Project Engineer Naval Weapons Systems

Provide systems engineering, design, and development for
weapon, combat, and/or fire control systems. This includes identification,
analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving surface
and subsurface Navy weapon systems.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree
Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited
college or university in an engineering, scientific, or
technical discipline, or ten (10) years of a demonstrated
knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to
specific
technical disciplines of the PWS
Ten (10) years of systems
engineering, design, and development experience with weapon, combat, and/or
fire control systems. This
includes experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of
complex
systems engineering
issues involving surface and subsurface Navy weapon systems.
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with other disciplines such as Integrated
Logistics Support, Test and Evaluation, and software engineering and
integration of systems with multiple Navy surface and submarine platforms and
operational weapons systems. Six (6) years of concurrent, direct experience
providing project engineering and technical leadership for Navy programs such
as SLBM, USW, LCS, and/or Tomahawk.
