Job Purpose
The Vice President, Client Care is responsible for managing all aspects of the client care organization, defining and tracking performance against service level requirements. The VP of Client Care will define departmental goals and oversee the execution of those goals, managing everything from the client support center to the research group. It is the primary responsibility of the VP of Client Care to assure client satisfaction with the services provided by Fiserv. This position is responsible for establishing and managing the expense budget for the client care organization. In addition, the Vice President, Client Care is responsible for:
o Planning and directing the organization's customer support efforts including customer problems and resolution.
o Primary leader responsible for Client Satisfaction within our core customer base
o Interacting with all other management level peers for many company functions such as code releases, development project assessment, and other committees as needed.
o Interact with the other divisions within Fiserv that create the One Fiserv approach for our core customers
o Assist in the re-negotiation of customer contracts.
o Analyze current and future client needs and suggest solutions as appropriate.
o Acts as a resource to Sales and Account Management in selling services to prospective customers; sell additional services to the customer.
o Drive improvements and appropriate solutions by translating the information into actionable recommendations and project prioritization.
o Drive the development of the client service strategy by partnering with key organizational leaders to define strategy philosophies and gain leadership endorsement.
o Liaise with key stakeholders and management around operational issues to ensure effective problem-solving and resolution.
o Performs other duties as required.
Education:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA or Master Degree preferred
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
o 10 plus years' experience in the financial services industry, including five years within a Client Service organization within the financial services technology industry
o Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
o Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate employees to perform at peak standards.
o Exceptionally strong and effective written and oral communication skills; strong ability to articulate and promote ideas, plans and results to all levels.
o Experience in building, managing and/or directing a service organization focused on clients is required
o Proven experience at managing and leading high impact client support teams, including successful management of geographically dispersed teams.
o Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
