A growing company in Central NJ is looking to hire a PeopleSoft DBA to join their team! Client will take a consultant for this role. The PeopleSoft/Oracle Database Administrator will support and maintain the various database environments required for the Application's Internet Architecture. The Database Administrator (DBA) has responsibility for migrating data from one database environment to another and for maintaining security for each database. The DBA will create and administer all database instances, validate database scripts (tablespaces, extents, etc.), perform periodic backup and recovery on demand (databases as well as individual tables), maintain optimal database performance, including systematic evaluation of indexing, statistics, etc., Administer database security, maintain database connectivity between databases, provide two-tier connectivity to clients as required, assist network administrator with server administration and tuning, develop production polices on backup and recovery, server failover, shared storage allocation, and other database-related tasks.
Resolve Oracle Database issues and PeopleSoft administration issues with Oracle 11g and 10g RAC databases, application server and process schedulers.
Use of Peopletools
Resolve PeopleSoft Batch and Online performance issues.
Perform Oracle RAC Database test recovery using RMAN and application test recovery of PeopleSoft.
Install and setup Grid Control. Install PeopleSoft plug in on 12c to monitor PeopleSoft application and web servers.
Refresh dev/test/qa databases from Production RAC Databases using RMAN to clone active database.
Support Oracle Database daily refresh using Oracle dataguard and flashback method and resolve issues pertaining to the daily refresh.
STAT, Control M, DataGuard, AIXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
