Auto Truck Group has an outstanding opportunity for a /Staff Accountant/ based in our Bartlett, IL location.
What will you do?
Prepares monthly financial statements, budgets, projections, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned income and overhead lines.
Completes general ledger and bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepares management reports and financial statements.
Prepares supplementary schedules to be included in the monthly financial statement package.
Prepares quarterly consolidated financial statements for Auto Truck Group as well as various financial institutions.
Performs various other analytical tasks and special projects as assigned.
Coordinate finance related projects and travel periodically for audit and financial analysis.
Prepare monthly sales and use tax reports.
Maintain schedule and complete all tax, licensing, and business registration related filings accurately and timely.
Maintain schedule of all leases and recurring expenses.
Maintain schedule of all fixed assets and depreciation schedules for the company.
Oversee liability and auto insurance programs.
What are we looking for?
Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA preferred
Minimum of two years experience in accounting or related position is required.
Experience with budgeting, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
Must have advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and Access.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Must have time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Experience with international accounting standards a plus.
Must have knowledge of corporate taxation laws, rules and regulations.
Must have strong analytical ability in order to analyze budget variances.
Must be a team player and able to work in a group setting.
Must be available for occasional travel as required.
