We are looking for 2 Pre/Post Sales Engineers
Oak Brook, IL

These positions can be permanent or contract to hire. Salary $125-175K plus 30-40% bonus potential (bonus is paid quarterly).

Day to day activities will include:
Design and/or recommend technical solutions based on client's business requirements to include Server and Storage Solutions, Virtualization, Data Security, and Managed Services.
Facilitate long-term client relationships through the delivery of technical solutions to client business problems.
Maintain technology expertise & currency in Data Protection Solutions.
Provide 100% Pre-Sales Engineering Support and leadership for your team of Account Executives.
Participate in prospective client meetings, presentations, conference calls, web conferences, and whiteboard sessions.
Create detailed proposals for the proposed solutions.
Provide knowledge transfer to our Professional Services team as project moves into delivery phase.
Maintain professional communication with internal and external clients.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deliverable deadlines.
Upkeep of customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the engagement.
Obtain various vendor-related training and certification levels.

Required:
Coming from a current solutions provider / VAR of any: 1) Server 2) Storage 3) Data Center/ NOC 4) Virtualization 5) Data Security 6) Cloud 7) Managed Services or 8) DR Provider
5
years of experience in design & deployment of Server technology/Storage Solutions: NetApp/EMC/HDS/Cisco. Enterprise level experience highly desired.
Sales solutions track record of Design and/or recommend technical solutions based on client's business requirements to include Server and Storage Solutions, Virtualization, Data Security, and Managed Services.
Able to communicate current features, benefits and other intricacies of required technologies to customers in a coherent and organized manner, and support pre- and post-sales professional services.
Strong documentation/ writing skills in the development of deliverables such as design specifications and proposals.
Order of technical proficiency desired 1) Storage 2) Virtualization 3) Disaster Recovery (DR) 4) Data Center Architecture 5) Networking
