Description:
Develops relationships while providing outstanding customer service
Evaluates and determines benefit eligibility of FMLA and other applicable leaves
Ensures coordination of efforts at each stage in the Leave of Absence process including the return to work process
Maintains electronic leave data entry/tracking while creating and maintaining data using HRIS
Responds to emails in a timely manner
Ensures that all medical and family leave standards and protocols are followed under legal, regulatory and company policy
Stays abreast of related regulatory policies
Prepares reports as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
Minimum one (1) year of related work experience
Understanding and application of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and DOL
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented
Ability to maintain confidential information
Customer service orientated
Communication - strong oral and written communication skills
Bilingual preferred- read and speak English and Spanish preferred
