Position Summary
The Department of Teacher Education and Professional Development at Central Michigan University invites applications for a tenure track, Associate Professor appointment in the area of educational technology. Primary responsibilities include teaching online master's and doctoral courses in educational technology; advising doctoral dissertations; maintenance of scholarly research and publications; service to the university and PK 12 schools; guidance and leadership in our new Doctorate of Educational Technology Program; and effective teaching and advising at the university level. Given the online focus of many responsibilities, partial telecommute options may be available.
Required Qualifications
Required credentials include an earned doctorate in education, curriculum and instruction, educational technology or related field, with a minimum of seven years of university teaching experience. Academic credentials eligible for faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. Demonstrated success in leadership roles. Experience as a faculty member in master's and doctoral level programs. Experience building and teaching successful online courses. Also required are demonstrated innovative uses of technology to enhance teaching; significant work with K 12 students or teachers involving instructional technology OR at least three (3) years of K 12 teaching experience; evidence of scholarly productivity in education technology including published articles, presentations, and/or grants; and demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, both face to face and online.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred credentials include grant writing; the ability to integrate topics of diversity into the curriculum; active in educational technology professional organizations; demonstrated service to PK 12 schools; and evidence of significant online collaborative work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
