Responsibilities
The Imaging group is currently focused on the all capabilities of medical imaging. Responsibilities include the storage of any medical images that can be stored per industry standards from modalities. Those responsibilities include the information systems that track the imaging processes used in multiple departments. Those systems are constantly updated and require build activities and intense testing before updates are placed into productive use. This group provides 24x7 support for all of the applications required to perform the imaging functions.
Analyzes, designs, builds, tests and implements medical imaging technology solutions that meet the specifications of a project or service request.
Identifies, escalates and resolves issues that impact medical imaging application performance.
Adheres to standards and best practices, processes and deliverables in accordance with IS protocols
Leads the detailed design, lifecycle management and total cost of ownership of medical imaging applications.
Provides input to support medical imaging technology planning.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent experience
8-10 years total work experience
5 - 7 years implementing or supporting PACS - Radiology; PACS Cardiology, ECG Management System, Mammography system, Voice Recognition System; Radiologist productivity tools across large multi hospital system required
Clinical knowledge and/or experience is a plus
