Responsibilities:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement area of new product development, improvement and sustainability and is responsible to strategically source suppliers to reduce costs and purchase materials of high quality and technology. The Procurement Specialist is required to work interactively with the business teams as they develop short and long term product strategies. The Procurement Specialist is responsible to maintain supplier relationships and to confirm they are meeting requirements in the area of quality, cost and delivery per the EGSM and are responsive to the goals of Evenflo. International and Domestic travel may be required in this position.

Examples of Typical Activities:
Build and execute RFQ & RFP packages for new and existing products or services
Execute supply strategies for business categories
Participate on new product development teams
Negotiates price, terms, payment and delivery with suppliers
Develop supply contracts with suppliers
Work with Finance/Engineering/Manufacturing on make/buy analysis
Significant resources devoted to Asia based sourcing counterparts to acquire the required information
Continually identify and execute cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery requirements
Manage supplier relationships and insure compliance to the EGSM
Set up and maintain items to be purchased in BANN ERP system

Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree required: 3-5 years of experience specifically: global sourcing in a fast paced consumer product business and sourcing experience in plastic and or injection molding and or printed materials is required.

Project Management Skills - ability to follow project plans and meet key milestones on time
Demonstrated negotiation Skills - ability to develop and execute a negotiation strategy
Proficient in strategic sourcing - utilizes a systematic approach to sourcing
Proficient with MS Office & ERP - Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
Understanding of Manufacturing processes and costing

Desired Secondary Competencies
Experience with a BAAN ERP system capable of developing pivot tables and Vlookups

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
