The Senior Benefits Analyst is part of the US Benefits operations team, working closely with Payroll and other Shared Services teams. The position will have day-to-day responsibility for leave of absence administration and assist with other tasks related to employee benefit programs including health, dental, life, disability, flexible spending, and health savings accounts.

Responsibilities:
Leave of Absence Administration
Ensure the leave of absence and benefit programs are delivered in an accurate and efficient manner and comply with federal and state regulations as well as company policies
Day to day administration of intermittent, continuous, and company specific leave requests including those under FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability
Process all leave requests in a timely manner and coordinate status updates with HRIS and pay coordination with Payroll
Partner with employees, managers, and HR on escalated leave related issues
Act as a liaison between employees and the leave of absence administrator
Health & Welfare Administration
Learn and maintain a detailed operating knowledge of HR/Benefit systems, policies, and procedures
Conduct new employee orientation and support on-site benefit office hours
Address employee issues and provide timely resolution
Coordinate and support on-site wellness initiatives and events
Provide employees with a high level of customer service at all times
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 2 years of significant leave of absence administration and health & welfare benefits experience
Strong working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, CAPFL, USERRA, ADA and other leave regulations
Ability to manage a high volume workload and prioritize time sensitive issues as they arise
Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Strong analysis, auditing, and attention to detail

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
