Summary:
Performs diversified duties to assist the Director of Medical Staff Recruitment with recruitment, on boarding and retention in support of Elliot Health System s overall mission and goals.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Manages coordination of physician/mid-level conferences and job fairs;attends conferences to identify candidates.
Managesphysician and mid-level recruitment sourcing activities including mailings, advertisements, posting positions, attending conferences to identify candidates, andPhysician Recruitment website maintenance.
Recruit mid-level providers including screening candidates, presenting to hiring managers/directors, manage candidates site visit itineraries.
Direct and complete follow-up on all mid-level interviews including candidate surveys, coordination of formal contract/offer, employment agreement drafting and signing.
Assists in the coordination of Provider Retention Plan including social and recognition activities for physicians and mid-levels.
Assists with the review and revision of all agreements/contracts of Elliot Health System.
Ensures all applications for licensing and credentialing are completed and submitted by the new provider. Responsible for tracking status of new provider s application and working collaboratively with Medical Staff Services and new providers to obtain all required information necessary to complete provider s file. Communicates with new providers, practice manager, directors and internal departments regarding any anticipated delays in new providers start date.
Ensures all pre-employment requirements are met including pre-employment physical exam, human resources paperwork (I-9 Form), photo taken at Studio One, employee ID badge.
In collaboration with the Office Manager performs the following tasks; assigns mentor, schedules first week orientation to include medical staff orientation, EPN/EPS orientation, coding education, EPIC training, benefits, meeting with VPMA, and hospital tour with mentor if applicable. Prepares an orientation schedule with Office Manager contact information and sends to new provider 10 days prior to commencement date. Confirms with Office Manger has called provider prior to commencement date.
Confirms with Directors and Office Managers prior to providers start date that the office is prepared for new providers arrival (i.e, EPIC build is done, office is ready, phone/computer hooked up, cards ordered, lab coats ordered, etc.)
Notifies marketing once new provider has started to add physician to website and IKE.
Assists new physician/mid level and their families with relocation/community transition providing realtor contact information, moving vendor contact information, providing a welcome gift for new families along with appropriate community information and contacts. Tracks relocation expenses for new providers. Acts as the liaison between the provider/family and both internal and external departments/vendors. Provides guidance and concierge services to the provider/family as they transition to the community.
Helps to maintain provider database (ACT) and other Recruitment databases.
Maintains communications; establishes and maintains positive working relationships with employees, physicians, clients, committee members, regulatory agencies, vendors and the public.
Exhibits a professional, welcoming, positive impression of the Elliot to internal and external clients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Has a proven ability to multi-task.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook and experience utilizing database management software.
Excellent organizational, managerial, written and oral communication skills; and ability to work effectively with physicians and other medical staff members.
Ability to endure periods of heavy workload or excessive stress. Ability to work to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and/or written word. Primary functions include activities in which incumbent must convey detailed or important spoken and/or written instructions to employees, physicians, clients and/or their families, committee members, regulatory agencies, vendors and the public.
Visual acuity sufficient for work which deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal operation, extensive reading and visual inspection involving small parts/defects, operation of machines.
Ability to plan and perform widely diversified duties requiring an extensive knowledge of a particular field. Involves the exercise of judgment in the analysis of facts and conditions regarding individual problems or transactions to determine what actions should be taken.
Ability to endure periods of heavy workload or stress; ability to work independently with frequent interruptions; be objective, articulate, organized with well-developed work habits, and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
Excellent written, verbal communication and social skills; ability to establish a cooperative, collaborative working environment; strong organizational skills.

Education:
Bachelors degree in business or equivalent progressive experience in a healthcare setting required.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years in a busy, complex environment, managing several activities simultaneously required. Immigration and Medical Staff recruitment experience preferred.
Software/Hardware:
Proficient MS Office products.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
