Perform computer systems analysis of project requirements and issues. Estimate effort for tasks. Utilize programming knowledge on middleware/backend technologies, such as Java/JEE or .NET and front end technologies, such as Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Perform task allocations, track progress, and escalate technology risks/issues in a timely manner. Review project artifacts. Provide Release/Deployment support for various environments, including production. Prepare metrics and reports on regular and ad hoc bases. Liaise between customers and company interfacing teams. Provide production support. Provide web applications support in retail domains. Warren, NJ and various unanticipated client sites throughout the United States. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
Two (2) years of development or production support experience. Experience must include the following: programming middleware/backend technologies such as Java/JEE or .NET; programming front end technologies, including Javascript, HTML, CSS, and database querying - SQL; development and support projects; requirements analysis and impact analysis; estimating necessary efforts for tasks; performing task allocations; tracking progress; identifying and escalating risks and issues; reviewing project artifacts; providing release and deployment support; preparing metrics and reports on regular and ad hoc bases; liaising between customers and the company; and working on retail and eCommerce applications.
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
