Research and examine current systems and consult users.
Liaise with colleagues such as systems analysts and designers.
Write software, documentation and operating manuals.
Write mainframe computer job control systems.
Test and modify systems to ensure that that they operate reliably.
Participate in fault finding, diagnosing, and fixing.
Possess strong experience with data conversion.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
9 or more years of progressive responsibility and experience in application design and development
Required Skills:
Cobol, JCL
IMS DB/DC
Preferred Skills:
DB2
