Full Stack Java Software Engineer-Preva Platform Team-Direct hire-Woodinville, WA
Come join us on the Preva Platform team to change the fitness industry through Networked Fitness. We are a small agile team building the web services and web sites that power Preva, the industry leader in Networked Fitness: http://www.precor.com/preva.
It's still early days and you'll be able to grow with us into the modern web user interface, scalability and big data challenges we are beginning to face. Your contribution in this area will make a tremendous impact on the product.
You will work with the latest technologies in a startup-like environment, using a low overhead process that is being continually refined. You will have the opportunity to work with other talented and passionate product development professionals and build strong, collaborative relationships in delivering an unrivaled user experience in the fitness industry.
We are looking for passionate engineers who care about the quality of their work and write clean, tested code because it's faster to do it that way.
The ideal candidate has a passion for fitness and multiple years of industry experience in commercial product development with a good balance of front-end and middle-tier/database skills, and has the ability to effectively partner with web and user experience designers.

Qualifications:
4
years of industry experience using Java, Spring, MVC, MySQL, Hibernate
Experience in public-facing front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JS, JSON, AJAX)
Experience with service oriented architecture and REST based web service development.
Experience with agile development methodologies
Excellent collaboration and team skills
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Exhibit a strong passion for software development and customer delivery
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with Grails or Rails
Experience with No SQL Database
