BIG DATA Careers is currently looking for an experienced data scientist for our client.The Data Scientist creates statistical and predictive models and scorecards for Revenue, Risk, Marketing, Customer Care, and other areas. The position will use various statistical techniques including clustering, advanced regression, data mining, and multivariate modeling for model creating and provide actionable insights, create segments and segment profiles. Additionally, this position will be primarily responsible for implementation of the models and scorecards. Other responsibilities include preparing reports and dashboards using trends, vintage, cohort, and comparative analysis. The person in this job will be constantly looking to improve and optimize existing models.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to consistently deliver projects of high quality with excellent attention to detail within tight deadlines. The successful person in this role will collaborate with the Data Warehouse team as a subject matter expert and help write business requirements for creating optimal data models for use in his/her job.

Responsibilities
Communication: Superior verbal and written presentation skills are required. Actively listen to others to understand their perspective and ensure continuous understanding regardless of communication channel or audience. Ability to present complex topics and analysis in easy to comprehend manner. Ability to summarize data into useful information using visual and other graphical approaches for leadership audiences.
Implementation/Execution: Combine consultative skills with analytical knowledge to critically evaluate objectives and present solutions. You are a problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative manner and ability to influence with deep subject matter expertise.

Statistical Skills: You are savvy and extremely comfortable with statistical software and using related techniques, including data preparation and analysis. Demonstrate skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/ incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies within complex data environment.
Requirements
Master's degree in economics, statistics, or mathematics
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar area
Outstanding analytical abilities with a steep learning curve
Leadership qualities in the analytical area with ability to lead critical thought process discussions
Must have advanced knowledge of SAS, R, and or other statistical tools
Experience in SQL, Python, and other languagesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
