We have an immediate opening for a driven, self-starting team player who loves manufacturing die cast and machining processes. As a Manufacturing Engineer in our facility in Clackamas, located just outside beautiful Portland, Oregon, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the following:
Design and support manufacturing processes (Die Cast and Machining), new product launches, and continuous improvements. Work with robotically automated machining cells.
Hands on work with the engineering team and production employees in troubleshooting and improving existing processes. Use of methodical problem solving techniques.
Create timelines and budgets for new projects. Communicate priorities and project status to the engineering team and the Engineering Manager.
Work with design groups and provide manufacturability considerations.
Design and build manufacturing equipment including machining fixtures
Education, Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering mandatory. Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred.
7 to 10 years' experience in manufacturing or related engineering field.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience of automated equipment is required.
Organized, Team player, Self-directed, Self-starter.
Proficient with CAD modeling and drawing software. (ProE preferred.)
Knowledge of GD&T; preferred
Proficiency with Fanuc robots a plus
CNC Lathe and Mill experience is a must
PLC, HMI, SCADA a plus
