Sikorsky Research and Engineering (R&E) department has a summer internship opportunity for candidates interested in a career in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S). The R&E EH&S internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist R&E EH&S achieve its business strategy. As an R&E EH&S Intern you will play an integral role in supporting key initiatives for Sikorsky s R&E department. It is expected that the candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data and drawing conclusions based on his or her analysis of the data. The selected intern will be tasked with assisting the R&E EH&S team with key projects and initiatives, in addition to hands-on tasks to include, but not limited to, the functions listed below: Perform project management administrative activitiesSchedule meetings, provide status reports, etc. Provide EH&S program assistance including, but not limited to the development of standard work template to improve data collection/tracking for key initiativesPerform routine data/trend analysis, research, and presentations related to EH&SComplete assigned EHS tasks/projects and other administrative duties as assigned including special internship project and presentation.
Business Unit: SikorskyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
