Product Management Director Sr
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex product strategies for the Medicaid product line across the enterprise or within a multi-state environment. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Leads the development of new Medicaid product models to capture emerging growth opportunities for new populations, capabilities, and services.
Owns and drives the product lifecycle within the Medicaid Business Unit.
Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform.
Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.
Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy.
Develops system requirements and ROI.
Performs financial and other analyses required to evaluate new Medicaid product development opportunities.
Manages projects which significantly contribute to Anthem, Inc.'s strategic priorities.
May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of complex regional and company wide initiatives including portfolio repositioning in a market, legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives, etc.
Requires:
BA/BS degree
7-10 years of product management experience
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research or Risk Management.
Working knowledge of financial modeling and analysis required.
Comprehensive understanding of Medicaid programs and populations required.
Excellent knowledge of managed care operations preferred.
MBA, or Masters degree in marketing, public health or public administration preferred.
Behavioral health experience preferred.
