The Human Resources Director will plan and implement human resources policies, programs, and services that drive organizational and employee performance and a productive work environment. Key areas of focus include HR administration, staffing, employee orientation, employee relations, management consultation, policy guidance, compliance, and safety. Our target applicant will be able to execute hands-on activities while also having the experience and acumen to contribute to the company's management team on strategic planning and execution of business objectives.
Develop, implement and coordinate centralized, company-wide human resources practices, programs and policies. This includes recruiting and retention initiatives for U.S. based operations.
As a member of the executive management team, demonstrate leadership in supporting and promoting corporate policies, procedures, and organizational development.
Supervise, coach and develop Human Resources professional and administrative staff members across multiple locations.
Maintain employee benefits programs by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; coordinating with the Controller in obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; design and conduct educational programs on benefit programs.
Monitor, develop and maintain a system that successfully integrates new staff into the company.
Ensure legal compliance by maintaining and monitoring applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
Maintain standardized Employee Handbook that will serve as the primary written communication tool for all locations.
Embrace an open-door policy to encourage employees to discuss concerns. Facilitate peer-to-peer and employee-manager discussions/mediations. Provide group and one on one coaching and development as necessary, to assist and train leaders and individuals to successfully deal with dilemmas, confront conflict, and coach around tension and change.
Develop and maintain a safety culture that ensures safety first. Coordinate training and implementation of safety efforts and management of workers compensation claims to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a college degree
Minimum of 5 years of human resource experience
3 years in a supervisory/managerial position
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR practices
Strong recruiting experience
Knowledge in compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development and compliance
Ability to travel 10% of the time as needed.
Bilingual preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
