We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to deliver grocery products to locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will be offloading grocery items utilizing a hand truck down stacking and sorting frozen, refrigerated and dry goods to be brought into individual retailers.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must hold a valid Class A License
Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A CDL
Clean Driving Record
Multi stop delivery experience strongly recommended
Strong Customer interaction; unloading and checking in product with customer
Ability to lift 50lbs continually
1 year CDL Driving Experience
Previous beverage or dairy delivery experience a plus!
JOB
Responsibilities:
Drives truck to deliver such items sold to stores
Deliver product safely and timely to all our customers
Records delivery information on daily delivery record
Collects and picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine inspections on trucks and/or trailers
Maintains and cleans inside of delivery truck
Perform other duties as required
Fueling of delivery vehicle and/or trailers

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand. The employee is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in various weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
All candidates are subjected to a pre-employment drug and background screening, and physical, must hold a valid Class A drivers license, and submit a 10-year DMV driving record with application.
This is a labor intensive position and will require full mobility and adequate strength.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
