Description
Duties:
Analyze system requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Debug existing software and corrects defects.
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develop software:
For RF Modules and electronic assemblies,
In VHDL for FPGA and CPLDs, and
For microcontrollers in C/C++.
Develop user interface for platform using the LabView programming environment.
Assist with development and execution of test procedures for hardware and software components.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Requirements
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years' experience
Experience with:
LABVIEW
VHDL
C/C++
RF Testing and Hardware
Proficient in the following:
Linear and Digital circuits and their applications,
Troubleshooting,
Signal Processing,
Digital Communications, and
Wireless communications.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
Able to work well in a team environment.
US Citizenship
Clearance Requirement: Secret
Desired Qualification: Linux
Location: Adelphi. MD
Position Type: Full Time Temporary (Starts 2 Jan; 5 month contract)
