Operates large tactical vehicles, buses, forklifts, and ATVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel and ammunition over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements.
Loads and secures cargo ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and vehicle capability. Performs operator level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment. Performs various ammunition warehousing duties to include accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution of ammunition, and various Aerial Resupply tasks to include pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields and/or drop zones and parachute recovery. Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed.
Required Education/
Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, Class A CDL license.
Desired
Experience: Possess Hazmat CDL endorsement.
Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US, and foreign countries; applicants selected may be subject to a random drug screening; individual must be physically capable of performing the job duties to include the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work outside; must be able to work shift schedules and weekends. Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL endorsement within 180 days of hire. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory Background Check.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
