Bilingual Collections Specialist II

CAF has several exciting openings for Bilingual Full-Time and Part-Time
Specialists!
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Successfully managing and collecting on accounts 1-60 days past due
Making outbound calls to customers that are delinquent on CAF accounts
Accepting inbound calls (current - 60 days past due) and assisting with customer inquiries
Providing Spanish translation assistance to facilitate communication with Spanish-speaking customers for other associates
Retrieving and responding to voice-mail messages left by Spanish-speaking customers
Negotiating and following up on payment arrangements
Determining if an account meets repossession criteria
Demonstrating strong knowledge of and compliance to CAF Collections Policies and Procedures
Daily reporting and tracking of collections activities
Locate missing customer information/ light skip work
Assist new associates to the team through training and peer mentoring
The qualifications for the position are as follows:
Fluent in Spanish
A minimum of 6 months prior collections experience.
Ability to handle special projects, learn new tasks and adapt to new ideas, processes and procedures in an expedient manner
Strong verbal communications skills
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Excellent PC Skills (MS Office)
Strong analytical ability
GED or High School Diploma
This is a Specialist II position and includes a 5% base-pay differential.
The current hours for the department are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm. Candidates must be willing to work at least 2 evening shifts Monday through Friday, and a rotating schedule Saturday and Sunday.
