WEB OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
WebSphere Commerce/AIX/DB2 Environment
The position requires proven success managing large-scale web projects with strong results in increasing site performance, improving conversion rates, maintaining a customer-friendly website and managing site content.
Responsibilities/Expectations
Directing the entire E-commerce (IBM WebSphere) operation in a D2C environment.
Motivate and manage the Web Team to assure the highest level of productivity &
effectiveness.
Strong expertise running a site and identifying and implementing strategies to increase traffic
and improve customer experience
Maximizing the utilization of WebSphere for improved site performance and continued
enhancements.
Track, audit and analyze site performance, while generating site analysis reporting
Review programming code & systems testing to assure accuracy & performance (Java)
General Requirements:
10-15 years of IT and Web experience
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of previous direct-to-consumer internet operations experience
Expert experience with Websphere Commerce 7.0 is a MUST
Solid Project Management success managing team members to achieve organizational
goals
Knowledge of JAVA to direct the Team
Very strong organizational & time management skills to meet strict deadlines
Effective analytical and negotiating skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive management reporting results
Experience with FEP7 is a plus
