Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To effectively manage the schedule of moves on the day sheet and dispatch crews and equipment to locations. Responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, and controlling all of the service delivery aspects of local production employees. Manages Production employees in an efficient manner in order to provide satisfaction and timeliness of moves to customers. Provides leadership and direction for all Production employees in regard to developing additional skills and identifying advancement opportunities. Executes all job functions according to the standards as defined in the Graebel Move Process
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Effectively supervises employees reporting directly to the position, providing leadership, motivation, development, and discipline in order to promote quality performance.
2. Effectively oversees local contractors, providing communication, leadership, motivation, development, and discipline in order to promote quality performance and achievement of financial and quality objectives.
3. Is responsible for the daily completion of the day sheet.
4. Dispatches equipment and production employees to move locations.
5. Is responsible for the validation of daily job paperwork.
6. Manages the safety policies and procedures of the Local Dispatch function.
7. Maximizes branch revenues and profitability through cost effective dispatch practices.
8. Actively recruit production personnel.
9. Ensures that all household and commercial jobs are properly dispatched with appropriate
10. Provides for the protection, maintenance and custody of company assets through the adherence to federal, state and Graebel safety and compliance standards by all Production staff, Operations staff and drivers.
11. Manages vehicle maintenance for all local units.
Required Skills
Education: Good verbal and written communication skills which can be gained through a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training: Completion of Graebel University Local Dispatch Certification Process. Knowledge of regulatory agencies and their guidelines, including but not limited to ICC and DOT. Valid Driver's License required.
Required Experience

Experience: Four or more years of operational experience in the moving & storage industry, with preference given for at least two years of supervisory experience. Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, and associated software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
