Sotera Defense Solutions Intelligence Analysis and Operations Division (IAO) is seeking candidates with experience as a
Fusion Brain Support-DBA on our U.S. Army DCGS-A contract . In the IAO division we deploy innovative analytical tools and subject matter experts to facilitate faster and more thorough analysis of threats for critical intelligence-related, federal law enforcement, homeland security and counterterrorism missions, and we enable information to be shared across multiple agencies. By integrating key data sources and exploring direct and non-obvious relationships of interest, our solutions support collaboration and information sharing and threat detection, all to ensure the mitigation of risks to our national security.

Experience: DCGS-A (FIXED)
Position: Database Administrator
Requirements:
o Experience installing, configuring, modifying, and maintaining Oracle 10g/11g Relational Database Management Systems.
o Experience configuring and managing Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 10g/11g.
o Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) experience a plus.
o Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) experience a plus.
o Skilled in Oracle PLSQL and Unix shell script programming and debugging.
o Experienced with and able to perform RMAN data recovery procedures.
o Ability to identify database performance issues, recommend and implement solutions.
o Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and JDBC with the ability to write complex stored procedures, triggers.
o Ability to perform Unix/Linux shell script programming and debugging.
o Possess complex problem solving skills
o Possess the ability to write and perform complex SQL queries that retrieve information from very large, relational database management systems
o Ability to accomplish Enterprise User creation and administration
o Ability to automate network database monitoring and application database implementation tasks.
o Able to work with minimal supervision
o Assist Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
o Prepare status report as well as briefings for the customer and upper management. Develop plans and schedules. Manage database security activities as assigned.
o Understands Information Assurance methodology and security principles.
o Exceptional oral and written communications skills and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced high profile multi-tasked production environment. A self-motivated self-starter mindset is a must.
o Experience with Fixed Site Fusion Brain and/or DCGS-A WSS administration a plus.
o Experience in the DOD intelligence environment or equivalent government agencies, with field level experience preferred.
Desirable system / application
Experience:
o Oracle 10g and/or 11g installation, configuration, management
o Oracle RAC and RMAN use and management
o Oracle recovery procedures
o Oracle client installation and configuration
o Oracle RDBMS table space and table structure management.
Education / Required
Experience:
o Bachelor's degree Computer Science preferred.
Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
o 7
years Oracle Database experience in a multi-node Linux/Unix Enterprise network environment.
o Experience in the DOD intelligence environment or equivalent government agencies, with field level experience preferred.
Certification(s):
o CompTIA Security +
o Minimum CE: Server +Linux +
RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA)
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)(Server) 70-642 or 70-643
